German language school

We have been part of the Goethe Society WA for many years. The kids love their teacher, making friends that also have the same language and cultural heritage as they do like lantern walks, Nikolaus, Fasching (carneval), as this makes them feel part of something special.

I’ve been a student here twice. For a few semesters about 10 years ago and now back in 2022/2023. My experience for both times has been positive with teachers really knowing their stuff. I’ve been keen to learn more grammar (to round out my conversational German) and it has done exactly that. My vocab has improved and my general command and understanding has improved. I’d like it if the classes were offered twice weekly to really drive things home.

Great community spirit and excellent German classes. They offer all the exams if you want to work in a German speaking country .

I was a little hesitant about committing to a class in the evenings to learn a second language. However, I've found it easy to arrive every Tuesday at 6pm and the 2 hours flyby. I've retained 90% of what I've learnt so far as Isabel ensures we continuously revise in each class. The classes give off a relaxed vibe and Isabel, who is from Germany, is a great teacher, very knowledgeable, funny, patient and encouraging. The other students are friendly and as we are all beginners, you don't feel embarrassed or self-conscious when speaking aloud.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to learn German.

Jenny is a fantastic tutor! Her lessons are structured, and she teaches in a way that is easy to follow. She is also very patient and lets you work at your own pace - but she will also be able to help you knuckle down and work towards a goal if needed. I always enjoy my lessons with Jenny. I highly recommend her!

Such a fantastic experience to learn a new language as an adult and be taught by such great teachers! Would highly recommend all of the teachers at German Language Classes WA and can vouch for a great learning atmosphere and curriculum.

Whether your level is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, German Language Classes provide an excellent place to study German. The teachers are friendly and helpful, and you don’t get into trouble if you can’t do the homework! Highly recommended.
